Position Overview The candidate will join a robust Endocrine Surgery Section with a high-volume practice in all aspects of thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disease, including robotic expertise. The group has a Comprehensive Adrenal Program and one of the busiest robotic adrenalectomy programs in the country. The Ohio State thyroid cancer group is particularly strong with a longstanding commitment to endocrine cancer research, which started in the 1970s with the work of Ernest Mazzaferri, MD, and continues to this day. The multidisciplinary program is comprised of world-renown physicians in Surgery, Endocrinology and Medical Oncology and has previously been supported by NIH Program Project grant and SPORE grant funding.
