Job Summary Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologists are responsible for the use of radiofrequencies within a magnetic field for diagnostic, therapeutic or research purposes. MRI technologists performs magnetic resonance imaging and acquire and analyzes data needed for diagnosis at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. Magnetic resonance technologists independently perform or assist the licensed practitioner in the completion of magnetic resonance imaging procedures.
