Participates with the staff evaluation process. Provides information to the department nurse manager or director for the administration of annual performance evaluations including peer review, goal-setting, performance improvement and/or progressive discipline. Orients agency personnel to unit. Provides feedback to them throughout shift. Evaluates agency personnel. Give temporary ID access for PYXIS. Coordinates staff and their duties during a code. Acts as a resource to nursing staff in problem solving resolution of patient care issues. Communicates and follows up with other departments on unit/patients needs.
