Gastroenterologist - Advanced Endoscopist
Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist/Advanced Endoscopist to join their established and growing practice in Danbury, Connecticut. This role offers the opportunity to work with a large team of physicians and advanced practitioners, providing both outpatient and inpatient care. Practice Info Join a long-established, busy, and growing practice with 17 physicians and 11 advanced practitioners. Opportunity for a faculty appointment. Danbury Hospital is a 371-bed not-for-profit community hospital. Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. Teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Medical Group includes 1000 physicians and advanced practice providers. Responsibilities Outpatient practice. Inpatient coverage. Compensation Generous $75,000 sign on bonus/retention package. Relocation allowance. Highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives. Hourly Range $312 - $323, Commensurate with Experience. Benefits Allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses. Eligible employees may qualify for forgiveness of certain federal student loans under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Requirements Board certified/eligible gastroenterologist. 4th year Advanced Endoscopy training/experience. New or recent graduates are welcome to apply, including 2024 advanced endoscopy graduates.
