Analyze cost of goods sold monthly, highlighting variances and trends, and recommend process improvements. Assist external auditors with inventory and costing inquiries, reports, and supporting documentation during annual audits. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (required). Familiarity with MRP/MPS systems (required). Professional credentials such as CPA, CMA, or APICS (preferred). 5–10 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to standard costing Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and a strong financial analysis skill set. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work across departments.
