*We are seeking an Operations Manager in the Miami, FL area contingent upon contract award. The Operations Manager is responsible for providing supervisory oversight of security workforce; including assisting in the hiring, badging, administrative duties, and operational oversight of the security operations. This position will report to the Project Manager. Essential Functions Be a resident expert on the Post Orders and ensure 100% compliance. Be knowledgeable of the terms and conditions of the contract. Monitor security workforce to meet Post Order requirements and contract terms and conditions. Escalate any employee issue, or potential issue, to the Project Manager and to corporate Human Resources. Maintain employee files both hardcopy and in CAS HRIS: entering information, filing, audits, updating, and reorganization as needed. Prepare, update, and oversee successful implementation of security procedures for security workforce. Inspect, observe and evaluate security workforce’s daily activities in order to monitor and communicate individuals' quality of work and overall performance as they progress. Supervise security workforce performance and take immediate and remedial action to correct deficiencies and discrepancies. Assist in monitoring scheduling to ensure appropriate staff on duty and accommodation of leave. Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Must have a high school diploma or GED. Making sure everything is operating as it should be at facilities, AC/Lights/Etc. so that employees can work comfortably. Learning many different areas, where to go, and who to see. GPS is your friend! Each site you go to, introduce yourself professionally and give them a business card. Creating a directory will benefit you, as you will always have a point of contact for the site you're visiting. Maintain the warehouse and make sure it stays as neat and tidy as possible, and if you can, keep all isles clear. When you need to order supplies, or request a PO for keys, ask as soon as possible, because the process can take a while. Never authorize services without a purchase order. When the state of Florida is impacted by a hurricane, you will need to assist with the Disaster Management to prepare our facilities and assets for the event and recovery efforts. Assuring all sites have NO safety issues before leaving. All safety issues need to be dealt with immediately. When someone is trespassing on state property, you need to ask them to leave. Shift Monday - Friday - 1st Shift (Day) Pay: $18.50 per hour Shift: Monday-Friday, 11:00am-7:30pm Location: Forrest Park Drive, Olive Branch, MS The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the accurate receiving, moving, storing, and shipping of product to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity. This position is responsible for product safety, quality, legality, and integrity. Primary Responsibilities Accurately select product according to customer order specifications. Load and unload product onto or from delivery vehicles, pallets, etc. Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking and packing duties efficiently to meet customer service standards. Utilize Radio Frequency (RF) terminals for functions including picking, quality, inventory, and shipping. Determine product destination by scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers, and sorting accordingly. Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Keep accurate records and reports to ensure inventory accuracy. Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts. Check or count products for accuracy and damage or infestation.
