Join us! \n This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates \n Job Summary and Qualifications \n \n \n As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pediatrics ICU (PICU) unit, you will provide leadership which facilities the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. \n · You will oversee the delivery of patient care for a group of patients and direct patient are based on patient acuity and staff availability. \n · You will provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing care processes indicated to adhere to legal, ethical and competency level of staff. \n · You will collaborate and consult with patients, colleagues and interdisciplinary team members to achieve desired outcomes. \n · You will provide education for self, staff, colleagues, patients and/or families. \n \n \n \n What qualifications you will need: \n \n \n Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date \n PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date \n (RN) Registered Nurse \n Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree \n 1 years experience Required Years of Experience \n \n \n \n \n Benefits\n \n Mission Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
