This position will be experienced in coaching, developing, ensuring adherence to policy/procedures, and maximizing quality compliance. Essential Functions: · Supervise and provide daily direction of safety and work practices in the workplace. · Performance manage staff and assess talent. · Analyze daily schedules to ensure on time delivery to customers. · Interprets daily capacities and communicate status effectively. · Plan the flow of materials through departments with oversight of loading dock plans. · Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met or job order status is communicated. · Provides direction to inspect and measure accurate daily operations. · Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. · Develops, recommends and implements measures to improve warehouse methods, equipment performance and quality of product. · Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department or work crew. · SQF/ISO requirements compliance QUALIFICATIONS: · Must be able to demonstrate, based on past performance, excellent leadership skills and experience. · Ability to influence, direct, coach and develop employees and to provide the necessary tools to ensure performance to meet area and site goals. · Ability to delegate, as required. · Knowledge and understanding of regulatory/compliance issues, ES&H policies, guidelines and procedures. · Knowledge of budgeting, cost controls and purchasing as it relates to labor and maintenance expenditures. · Problem solving, conflict prevention and resolution, facilitation, and prioritizing skills. · A strong bias to “act on facts” and “data driven” logic to develop creative solutions and act with a sense of urgency. · Strong sense of ownership and a drive to improve existing systems and processes. · Solid interpersonal and organizational skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills · Moderate to advanced computer skills are required including proficiency in MS Office · Demonstrated strong root cause and corrective action skills are required EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: · 5 years’ experience in roles providing inventory support to manufacturing sites. · Warehouse experience strongly preferred.
