Administers medications, monitors sedation levels, and manages patient response during procedures. Documents nursing care accurately and timely. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, provider, patient, and family. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and education needs. Provides patient and family education related to procedures, recovery, medications, and follow-up care. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient, ensuring protection of patient rights.
