The focus of this role will be on parterning closely with a Senior Microbiologist to develop and validate our internal capabilities for testing our Professional products against tuberculosis. This role is responsible for the prep, execution, and data analysis of laboratory testing in conjunction with the guidance of Scientists and oversight of the Group Manager. The Microbiology Technician is also responsible for implementing tools, resources and practices which serve to increase our microbiological acumen on tuberculosis testing while working safely alongside other team members. The Microbiology Technician Cleaning R&D applies technical microbiological knowledge (with a primary focus on surface sanitization and disinfection) to new and existing test methods, while supporting projects and programs across the businesses by working collaboratively with Scientists and other Technicians on the Microbiology Team. The day-to-day activities of this role includes various tasks, but not limited to; media prep, routine testing execution, new test method development & validation, data analysis and related lab maintenance. Requirements: Preferred candidates have: Execute a variety of simple to complex microbiological laboratory experiments in collaboration with other technicians and scientists to support the business. Collaborate with scientists to collect, evaluate, and present data to inform teams to enable project decisions. Manage the microbiology laboratory for this specific project, including laboratory upkeep, maintenance, and ordering equipment and supplies. Contributes to the operating principles and best practices of this new capability by working safely and with the highest integrity. Contributes to knowledge management practices with standardization and consistency. Ability to effectively network internally and externally. Excellent communication skills with ability to present critical information. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with individuals in a wide variety of disciplines and backgrounds and build effective relationships. Background in biology, biotechnology, or microbiology Ideal candidate should have experience with aseptic techniques and dilution procedures.

CNC Machinist Job Description (Temp to Perm) CNC Machinist - 3rd Shift PURPOSE: To set up periphery grinders to produce quality products at blueprint specifications. Responsibilities: Set up multiple cam and/or computer numerical control (CNC) periphery grinders that produce ground inserts to blueprint specifications. Maintain cam rests, anvils, and dressed wheels, and set-up/use gages and comparator for dimensional inspection to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications when setting up cam grinders. With CNC grinders, maintain tooling and grinding wheels as well as the equipment itself. Monitor and maintain insert quality. May set-up and operate or set-up only depending upon operator availability. Scan in correct information. May train new Periphery Operators and Periphery Setups. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Must have a High School diploma or GED, with 2 years of manufacturing experience. Gain knowledge and understanding of the following: Reference materials; diamond and dressing wheels; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, geometry, trigonometry. Is able to load grinding programs depending on insert style. Is able to handle inserts with fingers without chipping. Is able to read and understand defect criteria manuals, and routings. Understands insert identification and inspection manual. Is able to read and understand blueprints. Use Kennametal Intranet for Global Drawing Warehouse, Edge Prep, ISO Procedures, Tooling Database, and work instructions. Is able to set up adjustable index plates; edit and troubleshoot grinding programs; and read depth micrometers for measuring the depth of the grinding wheel. Is able to use 30X scope. Communicate effectively with operators, inspectors, supervisors, manufacturing service representatives and instructors, and Product Engineering.
