Develop and implement employee health and wellness programs such as health assessments, immunization programs, medical care, wellness education, counseling, etc. Maintain active and positive ongoing relationship with local occupational health clinic. Manage hearing conservation, heat stress, respiratory protection and ergonomics programs including development and delivery of employee training. All other relevant duties to the job. Requirements Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required OR Certified EMT, Paramedic, etc. Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) certification or willingness to obtain. Prior occupational health experience within a similar environment preferred. Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) certification or willingness to obtain. Ability to ensure confidentiality of employee health information. Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, FMLA regulations. Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. Physical Requirements Frequent utilization of office equipment and/or computers. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines. Possible exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C). Possible exposure to wet and cold environment. Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
