Job Summary: All drivers run daily routes with frequent stops and are required to load packages onto hand trucks and unload product at each stop on the assigned route in the order they are designated by the Transportation Department Manager. The candidate will operate successfully in a cross-dock model picking up a loaded truck from a nightly delivery at the assigned loading dock and returning the empty truck back to the assigned lot at the end of the route. May be required to assist occasionally with loading-trucks, palletizing product, and performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager. A core and significant component of this role is supporting Her Justice’s innovative pro bono delivery model. The Staff Attorney prepares client cases for placement with volunteer attorneys, develops long-term case strategies, and provides ongoing substantive legal mentorship and technical guidance to pro bono attorneys throughout the entire life of their cases. This includes regular case conferencing, reviewing and providing detailed feedback on legal filings, supporting preparation for client interviews and administrative proceedings, monitoring case progress, and ensuring the delivery of rigorous, high-quality legal services. The Staff Attorney also develops and delivers continuing legal education (CLE) trainings, creates substantive legal resources, and leads legal clinics and pro bono initiatives. Client Representation & Services Intake & Assessment: Conduct comprehensive legal intake consultations and evaluate complex legal issues for prospective clients to determine appropriate pathways for brief services, direct representation, or pro bono firm placement. Direct Representation: Maintain a direct representation caseload of immigration clients, independently analyzing legal options, identifying available forms of humanitarian relief, developing litigation and filing strategies, drafting pleadings, and representing clients before federal and local agencies. Minimum of 4 years of dedicated experience practicing immigration law, including substantial experience providing direct representation to low-income immigrant clients before USCIS, Immigration Court (EOIR), or other government entities. Extensive substantive knowledge of humanitarian immigration relief, including VAWA Self-Petitions, U Visas, T Visas, I-751 Abuse Waivers, Adjustment of Status , and related fee waiver and work authorization applications.
