Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 per year A bit about us: We are a public and well-known power generation company located in Colstrip, Montana. As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for a $20M remediation project. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, project management, managing budgets, and leadership, and will be well-versed in EPA and DEQ policies. You will oversee a team of 8 individuals (civil engineering, environmental engineers, project managers, and a work coordinator). Key Responsibilities: Lead all site activities related to a multi-phase environmental consent agreement, including oversight of residual material removal, groundwater management, and construction projects. Develop and implement strategic plans to maintain regulatory compliance, control costs, and meet project milestones. Manage a team of field professionals, contractors, and consultants engaged in remediation and infrastructure operations. Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and agency agreements; maintain required reporting and documentation protocols. Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and annual financial assurance updates in coordination with internal financial departments and external agencies. Prepare technical scopes and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), lead vendor selection, and manage contract execution. Work closely with stakeholders to align project strategies and mitigate risks related to field execution or compliance. Publish performance metrics and deliver regular reports to internal stakeholders and external partners. Coordinate site water systems operations, including treatment infrastructure, sampling, and regulatory reporting. Act as the primary contact for inquiries related to project scope, financial status, and regulatory progress. Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-impact projects to successful completion. Familiarity with heavy equipment, residual waste handling, and water treatment systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; project scheduling software is a plus. Preferred: Experience with large-scale environmental remediation or regulated waste materials. Prior work in regulated industrial environments such as utilities, mining, or large-scale manufacturing. Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations.
