Job Description This role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. We also were the primary COVID unit during the height of the pandemic. General Surgery/Transplant (6-S) Care for primarily pre-op and post-op renal transplant patients as well as some patients needing to be treated for transplant rejection. We also care for surgical oncology, hepatobiliary and general surgery patients. Trauma Subacute (4-E) Patient population consists of primarily trauma patients along with specialties such as chronic pain, complex ENT patients, and everything in between. Orthopedics (3-S) Specialize in patent care who have experienced traumatic, skeletal injury and require surgical intervention to properly heal. Secondary service line is Urology, with a particular focus on providing care for patients who received robot-assisted surgeries. Surgical Specialty Unit (4-S) Service a wide variety of patient populations being cared by services such as General Surgery, Emergency General Surgery, Urology, Plastics and more.
