Position: Architects Location: Manhattan – 2 Broadway Project: Transit Infrastructure Responsibilities: Interpret construction drawings (including but not limited to as-built drawings, station layout drawings, fare gate dimension drawings) and specifications and generate complex analytical reports. Coordinate services of other architectural experts, collaborate and resolve comments, coordinate signage, the relocation of station assets, station plans and operation plans. Perform design work and supervise projects as required. Perform architectural feasibility studies, including analyzing historic data, surveys, reports, and as-builts to create innovative architectural design projects. Review all architectural related work throughout project phases. Conduct site visits to obtain existing conditions and properly identify design and construction risks. Ensure that phasing plans coordinate with architectural design phases. Plan and coordinate required permits and approval documentation that aligns with approved designs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in architecture is desirable. Proficiency in MicroStation CADD software is required. Minimum of three years interpreting drawings and specifications.
