The Quality Assurance Evaluator (2S0) is to provide leadership with an assessment of the unit’s ability to perform key logistics processes while ensuring standardized, repeatable, technically compliant process execution, to promote a culture of professional excellence and personal responsibility. Quality Assurance Evaluators (2S0) require extensive USAF Materiel Management background and skills, i.e. quality control and operations compliance that enables them to critique and access performance, formulate and recommend corrective actions, and provide leadership of personnel and/or critique programs in support of contract service delivery summaries and contract objectives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Measures processes through inventory analysis, surveillance, trends and standards. • Conducts research, analyzes deficiencies, determine causes, and recommends corrective action for required supply or contractual programs/reports. Manages methods to measure, track, analyze, and report performance trends/deficiencies. • Evaluate logistics management procedures, including locally developed forms, publications, local operating instructions, and checklists for accuracy, intent and necessity. • Review new and revised instructions, directives, technical data and TCTO’s for completeness, accuracy and applicability to supply functional areas. • Evaluate logistics tasks and conduct inspections utilizing checklists and/or respective Air Force instructions to ensure tasks are completed properly. • Enter observations, inspections, and evaluation reports into the appropriate QA database. • Provide limited training and/or instruction as applicable to address deficiencies identified during the evaluation process. • Conduct personnel evaluations, quality verification inspection, special inspection, safety inspections as the QA 2S0XX subject matter expert. • Provides expertise and guidance to assigned areas to ensure all USAF guidelines and directives are followed. • Provides guidance to work centers when procedures are inadequate or wrong. • Conducts periodic procedural and/or surveillance visits to all supply work centers. • Meets contract performance objectives and associated Service Delivery Summaries. • Ensures company policies and procedures and safety performance standards are in compliance with all federal, state, local and company safety regulations. • Responsible for prompt reporting of accidents/incidents, injuries, hazardous situations and violations to the Project Manager. • Attend periodic Quality Assurance meetings with senior leaders/managers. • Assists with managing unit self-inspection program and able to access and assist with the unit Inspection Tracking Database • Periodically assists with conducting property inventories to meet contract obligations Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications • Education Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. • Level of Experience Requirements: 5 – 10 Years of USAF Materiel Management related experience • Accomplish mandatory training and pass three Evaluator Personnel Evaluations within 90 days of appointment conducted by a qualified evaluator. • Hold a security clearance commensurate with property/computer systems accessed. • Must possess valid state driver’s license • Completion of Apprentice Level USAF Materiel Management course Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics • Knowledge of various programs, i.e. Zero Overpricing; Receipt for Classified List; Delinquent Document management; Equipment Accountability Element; shelf-life control; warehouse validation and inventory; bench stock; hazardous storage; warehouse surveillance; functional check; suspect material; supply discrepancy reports; mission support kits; Due-In-From Maintenance; Time Compliance Technical Order; Local Manufacture; Mobility Bag; Gas Mask; and weapons operations; and accurate movements of property. • Working knowledge of Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Integrated Logistics Systems-Supply (ILS-S) and logistics data retrieval systems (D035, D043, D20…etc). Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
