SHOTCRETE FINISHER The Shotcrete Finisher is responsible for the placement and finishing of vertical shotcrete surfaces, including handling concrete materials, using finishing and power tools, and operating equipment at heights. This position requires strong physical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Working under various environmental conditions, the Shotcrete Finisher plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality concrete surfaces on structural and architectural projects. Primary Responsibilities Responsible for the finishing of vertical Shotcrete, handling of concrete buckets, use of concrete finishing tools and power tools, operating motorized equipment, standing, walking on narrow work surfaces at considerable heights above the ground with fall protection measures in place, for the placement of concrete type materials. Work requires alert individual with good balance and physical strength. Working during inclement weather, could be exposed to extreme cold and heat, noise and dust from construction operations depending upon project site. The job of a shotcrete finisher, as described, falls into the heavy work level and requires lifting, up to 75 pounds, on a frequent basis. Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested. Minimum Qualifications Constant standing, walking, reaching, crawling, balancing, and grasping. Frequent lifting, carrying, climbing, stooping/crouching, and kneeling. All aspects of vision are required – acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Job Title: R&D Lab Technician II – Technical & Prototyping Focus Location: Covington, GA Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Product Development (Urology & Critical Care) Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours Pay: $34/hour Position Overview The R&D Lab Technician II – Technical & Prototyping Focus supports early-stage product development through hands-on prototyping, technical testing, and laboratory operations. This role focuses on building, testing, and troubleshooting innovative medical device prototypes using electronic, mechanical, and software-based tools, while also performing routine laboratory testing and documentation activities. The ideal candidate has strong technical lab experience, is comfortable working independently, and collaborates closely with engineering teams to support design verification and validation efforts. Key Responsibilities Design and build prototype systems using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms. Develop and execute test setups involving sensors, actuators, and data acquisition systems. Use LabVIEW or similar software for automated testing and data logging. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in prototype systems. Specify and source instrumentation required to implement test procedures. Conduct routine physical, chemical, and mechanical testing of prototypes and components. Prepare samples and test setups according to established protocols. Record, analyze, and document test data, generating clear and accurate reports. Maintain, calibrate, and organize laboratory equipment and work areas. Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and safety procedures. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. 3–5 years of experience in a technical lab, prototyping, or product development environment (minimum of 2 years required). Experience conducting routine physical, chemical, and mechanical testing. Proficiency with LabVIEW, Arduino, and basic circuit design. Familiarity with mechanical and electrical lab tools and instrumentation. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
