Provide ADL training including assistance with bathing, dressing, oral care, and hair care, as well as ambulation, mobility, positioning, and transfers using appropriate equipment and body mechanics. Monitor and progress treatment programs toward established functional goals, modifying plans of care as clinically necessary. Document all evaluative and therapeutic interactions accurately and in a timely manner within the EMR system, ensuring accessibility and clarity for the care team. Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and caregivers regarding therapeutic and discharge planning needs; attend relevant team meetings. Recommend and instruct residents and caregivers on the use of appropriate assistive devices; supervise and mentor assistant-level staff as applicable. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required. Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Massachusetts. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team. Excellent time management and clinical documentation skills. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Preferred Experience / Skills Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred. Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
