This position involves providing care for surgical patients on the medical-surgical floor, with responsibilities including postoperative recovery and general patient management. The role requires adaptability to various patient needs and adherence to clinical protocols. Job Details: Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Illinois license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, Epic electronic health record experience, two or more years of experience in neuro telemetry, patients with cerebrovascular accidents or transient ischemic attacks, subdural hematomas, seizure disorders, post-operative surgical oncology care (excluding chemotherapy administration), post-op recovery from procedures such as Whipple, esophagectomy, colon resections, post peripheral angiograms, wounds from peripheral arterial disease, and amputations.
