North Carolina Pain Management is a part of The North Carolina Neuroscience and Spine Center. The North Carolina Neuroscience & Spine Center provides specialized care for individuals with back pain, tailoring treatment solutions to suit each patient's unique needs. Our dedicated team prioritizes a conservative approach, refraining from rushing into surgical recommendations. The position is mostly outpatient but does have some inpatient consults. Inpatient consults average around 5-7 per week. Job Responsibilities • Discuss medical history with patients to acquire knowledge of healthcare practices. • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose pain conditions. • Create and discuss a pain management treatment plan with patients. • Treat patients by employing interventional techniques such as injections and/or other devices. • Prescribe medications, if applicable. • Refer patients for laboratory and diagnostic tests. Assess medical results. • Educate patients on pain management and lifestyle changes. • Communicate pertinent medical records to appropriate specialists as needed.
