You'll collaborate with a dedicated nursing staff and have access to both eCW and Meditech EMR systems to facilitate patient care. Contribute to a Growing Center: LGMC serves as the main transfer facility for urology in southwest Virginia and is on track to become a Level II Trauma Center in 2022. Key Qualifications: Licensed to practice medicine in Virginia (active license required) Board-certified/eligible in urology Current DEA registration Current certifications in BLS and PALS Experience using eCW and/or Meditech EMR systems (preferred) Schedule and Patient Load: Schedule: Call coverage (details regarding call frequency to be discussed) Patient Load: Variable; expect an average of 2-5 call backs with a 20-minute response time per 24-hour period Additional Information: This is a 24-hour call coverage position within a hospital setting. The daily patient volume reflects the average number of patients requiring intervention upon call back.
