About the Pediatric Cardiology - Advanced Cardiac Imaging Position The Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin and Dell Children's Medical Center (DCMC) is seeking a full-time pediatric cardiologist with additional fellowship training in advanced cardiac imaging to support our rapidly growing team within the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease (TCPCHD). The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care, leadership, and innovation alongside our team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers. Although patient care is our primary focus, education and research are also encouraged and supported with access to dedicated research professionals including a statistician, research manager, and research coordinators. Our practice is located in central Austin, providing inpatient and outpatient support for all of central Texas and beyond. The position encompasses responsibilities in patient care, program development and growth, team building, safety, quality and access for imaging services. This position will work with the Chief of Pediatric Cardiology and the leadership of the TCPCHD to execute on yearly personal and programmatic goals focused on the fundamentals of extraordinary care. Close collaboration with the Department of Radiology and various departments from UT Health and The University of Texas at Austin are expected and supported. Routine patient care will include: Outpatient clinic, inpatient consultation, supervision of advanced practice providers, and hospital service. Qualifications: Interested individuals should be board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology and able to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical License. The ideal candidate will have advanced fellowship training in the area of Cardiac MRI, Cardiac CT, and associated imaging modalities. Preference will be given to those with experience at higher volume centers and demonstrated ability in advanced imaging. Additional preference will be given to those with previous experience or education in medical administration and those who have clinical research experience.
