DOUBLE CREW and INTERMITTENT DOUBLE CREW Double crewed tugs are scheduled to work week on/week off (up to 7-day trips) with two Captains and two Deckhands. For each day aboard the vessel the employee earns a day off, therefore these employees do not work single crew. The other type of live aboard tug is the Intermittent Double Crew, known as IDC. An IDC tug is also crewed with two Captains and two Deckhands. The start of crewing can be any day of the week and the duration will not last beyond eight days, unless the crew agrees to extend the trip an additional day. Quality Technician

Our client, a nationwide machine manufacturer, has an immediate need for an experienced Quality Technician, to join their winning team in Ashland. Our candidate of choice will be responsible for providing service in support of military and nuclear contracts by focusing on product testing, inspection, non-destructive testing and general processing of advanced products throughout the operation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Work in a safe manner with a goal of zero harm. Create safety awareness by actively observing, auditing, and coaching safe work behaviors and conditions. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental rules and regulations. Read and understand process sheets and shop cards. Participate in casting certification process. Perform dimensional inspections on rough and finished components Perform contract review and product realization based on contract requirements, drawings and material specifications Create weld maps as required. Document and certification creation, upkeep and retentions to include coordination of these activities with additional sources Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental rules and regulations. Ensure proper execution of policies and procedures within areas of responsibility. Quality Control Analysis – Conduct tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings to include GD&T Ability to read and understand complex customer purchase orders Ability to learn and understand metal casting processes. Compensation: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour W2, depending on skill and experience level. Job Description Traditional BSA experience plus Wealth Management experience required. Updating/creating user and technical documentation procedures and manuals, operational support documentation, and archival of project documentation. Identifying and communicating risks, issues, and potential solution strategies along with providing status updates to the portfolio/project manager and/or senior leadership. Qualifications: Solid understanding of the processes and systems in use (or the ability to quickly acquire the knowledge). The ability to lead, influence, communicate, and interact with people of all levels across the organization and external partners as required. Demonstrated proficiency in effectively influencing decision-making at various levels of the organizations. An attention for detail with the ability to translate for the business or technology in order to facilitate effective collaboration. Demonstrated proficiency with requirement and process tools (e.g. Visio, Provision, DOORS, Client Quality Center, etc.) Ability to handle changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and work within tight timeframes and deadlines. Solid analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use statistical analysis and modeling. BA and/or BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
