Core Responsibilities Patient Care: Actively diagnoses and treats our veterans. Examines patient for symptoms of organic or congenital disorders and determines nature and extent of injury or disorder, performs comprehensive physical examination, referring to diagnostic mages and tests, and using medical instruments and equipment and documents all medical information into the patient s electronic medical record utilizing the VA s VISTA/CPRS electronic patient record system. Maintains confidentiality of veterans data and information. Develops and implements patient management plans and assists in provision of continuity of care. Orders and performs diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, laboratory tests, etc. and interprets test results for deviations from normal and provides patient notification and follow up care. Surgery - Critical Care Physician

Critical Care Surgicalist: Open to General Surgeons who have completed Critical Care Fellowship and who are willing to be 50% in Acute Care Surgery and 50% in Critical Care Unit. Must also be comfortable managing medical patients. Vascular experience preferred, but not required 7on/7off 12 hour shifts 1 physician and 1 advanced practitioner per shift No in-house requirement for pm shifts
