The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage as well as all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures. The minimum age requirement for an Assistant Store Manager is 18. The physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds. Prior retail and or management experience is required. Machine Operator - 2nd/3rd Shift Location: Carroll, IA Job ID: 71694 Pay Range: $17-20 Job Description: Machine Operator is an entry level position with no certification required. The purpose for an operator at this level is to learn and train on the basic understandings of all machine specific operations. Operators have the basic ability to set up and operate a variety of machines to produce precision parts with immediate supervision by a certified operator (level II or above). Follow established standard work under immediate supervision in efforts to obtain certification within 120 days. Operator follows and complies with established standard work practices under immediate supervision. The operator will typically refer problems or deviations to more experienced operators including Lead Technicians, Supervisors or Engineers. Primary Responsibilities: Learn how to set up and operate machinery according to standard work. Learn how to make machine adjustments Learn how to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Understand and follow quality testing techniques Learn how to inspect product using precision gauges, measuring instruments and equipment Demonstrate proficiency in manufacturing documentation and labor transactions. Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as set by your leader and position.
