The Kitchen Manager also: Ensures that the programs are operating within budget. Ensures that the programs are serving nutritional meals to participants and participating in the Child Nutrition Program with the state. Ensures compliance with licensure and other regulatory agencies as pertains to food service and nutritional requirements. Preparing nutritional menus and meals for Unity House. 2. Control inventory and budget. 3. Order all food and non-food supplies for the kitchen. 4. Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and cafeteria areas. 8. Coordinates and assists with all special events. 9. Supervises performance of work activities by cooking staff, interns and clients. 10. Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of purchase and distribution. 11. With the assistance of the Program Manager, hires, trains, motivates, evaluates, and directs staff. 12. Completes required paperwork, and all internal/external reports. 13. Develops relationships with food service employers in order to assist in the job placement of our clients. 14.
