Job Description Job Description The Mechanic is responsible for the health and maintenance of all the Company equipment that is in service, to include pickups and all company heavy equipment (i.e., milling machines, reclaimers, skid steers, forklifts vehicles, etc.). The mechanic is responsible for maintaining production, quality and safety standards by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Above all, ensure that safe practices are followed in all aspects of daily activities. Diagnose / troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues accurately the first time. Read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, etc. to assist with repairs and/or diagnostics. Diagnose complex electric, hydraulic, and mechanical issues. Remove, replace, and repair major components of milling machines, skid-steer loaders, street sweepers, heavy and light trucks, etc. Perform routine maintenance services on heavy equipment. Conduct annual vehicle inspections as per Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Perform repairs on-site in the field as needed. Maintain degree of professionalism and customer satisfaction for employees operating the equipment and a positive customer experience. Actively communicate with the Shop Manager, other mechanics, operators, etc. to ensure repair and maintenance services are provided in a timely manner. Liftgate Installer - Semi Trailers

Job Description Job Description Job task will be customizing semi-trailers. We are looking for experienced fabricators and DOT certified mechanics. Experience installing liftgates is required. Technicians will be performing work on J-Cor owned trailers that are for sale. We are not a truck stop service shop where you will be going thru multiple different trailers per day performing service jobs. Technicians on average spend 2-3 days per trailer preparing them for sale and customizing them to the customers specifications. Basic mechanical knowledge and experience with using common mechanics tools. Mechanics are expected to have their own set of general mechanics tools. J-Cor provides the welder, plasma torch, acetylene cutting torch, and grinders to prep trailers for liftgate installation. Shop has a positive and comfortable work environment with 4 full length enclosed trailer bays, out of any harsh weather.
