A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full Time, On-Site, Pharmacy Technician in Vinton, VA! Job Overview We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. In this role, you will assist with prescription fulfillment, IV preparation, inventory management, and pharmacy operations to ensure medications are processed accurately and delivered in a timely manner. Pharmacy Technician Compensation The pay for this position is $24.45/hr Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Pharmacy Technician Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is Full-Time | Monday – Friday 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities · Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications. · Enter prescription and billing information into the computer system to support accurate processing and reimbursement. · Assist the Pharmacist with the final review process, including staging medications and preparing prescriptions for packaging and delivery. · Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers. · Maintain pharmacy inventory, including receiving and rotating medications and supplies, recording lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory counts. · Support pharmacy leadership in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. · Check equipment to ensure proper calibration, safety, and cleanliness standards are met.
