Non Invasive Cardiologist Description COMPENSATION: 1st year $400,000 /year 2 $480,000 earning potential The Cardiologist is a dynamic and flexible individual who is licensed/board certified with experience in noninvasive cardiology and adult echocardiography. This professional will play a key role in providing direct patient care and assessments and be responsible for the ongoing development and quality control of our echocardiography program. Role : • Compensation: Base salary $400k year 1 no bonus. Year 2 bonus 20% of base salary • Shifts: M-F 8a-5p • No Call • No Inpatient • Patient Volume: The cardiologist will have 6 slots open for appointments in the morning. In the afternoon, they will be responsible for reading echoes, answering patient questions and providing curbside consults to the PCPs that may have questions regarding patients. • Will have an MA to assist • Locations Covered: The cardiologist will have two primary center locations that they will work out of throughout the week at the Mesa Greenfield and Peoria locations. There is no daily travel expectations but rather it will be a split so that say 2 days a week, they are at one facility and then on the other 3 days, they are at the other facility. • Will see patients in the Phoenix market • Non-Interventional / Non-Invasive • Management of chronic cardiovascular diseases including ordering appropriate imaging or lab tests and recommending treatment plans as indicated by patient s clinical needs • Will have equipment to do Echocardiograms (EKG) • Reports to the Senior Medical Director • Will read Echocardiograms for the Phoenix and Tucson markets Benefits : • Health, Vision, Dental (including family options) • Pre-tax or post-tax Roth contributions available. Work-related injuries to the head with or without loss of consciousness, assuming the individual is currently conscious and alert. Work-related injuries to the chest or abdomen, with the possibility of hernias. Work-related lacerations of the face, scalp, and extremities. Work-related eye injuries, including foreign bodies to the eye, non-penetrating eye injuries, and chemical exposures. Work-related rashes and other occupational skin conditions. Occupational asthma and other work-related respiratory symptoms. Treatment of non-displaced uncomplicated fractures, including interpreting radiographs, splinting, and orthopedic referral when appropriate. Evaluation and management to include: Perform complete and accurate history and physical, including detailed documentation of current work-related complaint, mechanism of injury, activity, and occupational limitations, leading to accurate diagnosis and medically appropriate management of the patient. Being aware of OSHA recordability and rendering medically appropriate care, while being aware and sensitive to treatment which makes an injury recordable to the employer. Knowledge of "first aid" treatments, and using them when medically appropriate, including appropriate over-the-counter medications, application of heat or cold, bandages, basic wound care, referral for home exercise training. Prescription of appropriate medications and therapy. Ordering and interpretation of appropriate radiographs. Referral for specialized testing such as MRI, EMG as necessary and appropriate. Referral for specialty care as appropriate. Identification of appropriate limitations to activity at home and work. Rendering an opinion regarding causality and work relatedness. Communication with employers at the completion of the first visit to review the treatment plan and work capacity of the patient, and at times through the case as requested from the employer or when deemed necessary by the treating provider.
