Genesis10 is currently seeking an Associate Data Center Technician (Night Shift) with our client in their Hillsboro, OR location. This is a 12 month contract position. This position is onsite. Summary: As an Associate Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting all failed hard drives and DIMM's. You will also be responsible for the installation of new SSD and NVME into existing servers. You will be mentored by level 2 data center technicians and assist them with various server maintenance tasks as necessary. You must have basic server component add/remove experience and entry level Linux troubleshooting skills. The quality of the work performed will have a direct impact on the stability and performance of the company's enterprise computer systems. Being a global company, down-time is measured in minutes, so responsiveness and effectiveness during system outages are critical. You will be working directly with the local site supervisor, who will give you direction and assign your workload.
