Responsibilities: Creates FUN Meet & Greet experiences in park for guests by portraying beloved Peanuts friends Interacts with all guests and associates cordially and with respect, courtesy, and fairness. Performs character walks in costume entertaining guests using nonverbal interaction as trained. Maintain costume, including cleaning, brushing, etc. Acts as a character attendant/usher when needed greeting guests and ensuring performer safety on set. Qualifications: You! Ability to interact with children of all ages. Must be physically able to handle the demands of a full body costume. This includes high heat, limited visibility, and limited mobility. Previous experience in children's theater, character costume performance, or related experience is a plus. People who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and associates. Good judgement and a commitment to safety. Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds. Individuals with a passion and excitement about Carowinds. Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
