Oncology - Radiation Physician

There are an average of 15 visits/ave.25 on Tx. A busy Radiation Oncology practice is seeking locum coverage due to the retirement of a long-term physician. This two-physician practice requires approximately 15 clinic days per month, with flexible scheduling, though coverage is specifically needed on Aug 4 5, Aug or , Sept 19, Oct , Nov , Nov , Dec 4 5, Dec 25 Jan 2, and Jan . The practice sees clinic visits per day (including OTVs), with about 25 patients treated daily between both physicians on a TrueBeam machine. Weekly chart rounds are conducted with the Radiation Oncology team. The facility uses EPIC for EHR and ARIA/Eclipse for treatment planning. The practice is supported by a skilled team of Radiation Therapists, RNs, on-site dosimetry with a pay-per-plan model during high volume periods, and hybrid physics coverage with on-site physicists every other week and remote support otherwise. The facility includes an on-site CT simulator and is located on a hospital campus with access to CT, PET, and MRI imaging. As an ACS Commission on Cancer certified center, multidisciplinary tumor boards are held every Thursday, and locum physicians are welcome to participate.
