Our mission is to lead the transformation of earthen and aquatic systems with bioengineered solutions that stabilize, restore, and protect our natural world. Position Summary: Turning real projects into stories people remember. SOX Erosion Solutions is looking for a Content Producer who can uncover compelling ideas within our projects, customer experiences, and industry conversations and transform them into clear, credible content that builds trust and strengthens our brand. This is not a role where you simply wait for a creative brief and complete isolated production requests. You will help identify stories worth telling, gather the information needed to tell them accurately, and manage content from early discovery through final delivery. You will have meaningful ownership from day one, with the opportunity to influence how SOX communicates its expertise, culture, customer successes, and industry leadership. You'll bring curiosity and editorial judgment to every stage of the process, combining strong production skills with an enthusiasm for interviewing people, organizing complex information, editing video, and coordinating contributors. The result is content that feels polished, engaging, and true to the SOX brand. What You'll Do You will work closely with Marketing and collaborate across Sales, Operations, company leadership, and vertical teams to plan and produce content tied to campaigns, customer projects, educational initiatives, recruiting, events, and industry trends. Your work may involve interviewing customers and technical experts, producing videos and case studies, supporting webinars or podcasts, capturing footage in the field, managing external production resources, and repurposing long-form material into useful short-form content. A meaningful part of the role happens before editing begins. You will research topics, clarify objectives, gather accurate project details, identify missing information, and determine which parts of a story matter most to its audience. You will also review completed work for accuracy, quality, branding, and completeness before publication. Core Responsibilities: • Build and maintain a content production calendar covering interviews, webinars, podcasts, video shoots, campaigns, and publishing deadlines. • Identify content opportunities across customer projects, installations, trade shows, educational programs, company initiatives, and frequently asked customer questions. • Research topics and gather background information from customers, certified service providers, technical experts, vertical managers, employees, and other stakeholders. • Plan and lead interviews for customer testimonials, case studies, recruiting content, educational programming, and thought leadership. • Produce and edit long-form and short-form videos for marketing, recruiting, training, sales support, social media, and digital channels. • Support webinars, podcasts, webcasts, and other recordings through production planning, equipment readiness, studio coordination, recording logistics, and post-production. • Manage and grow the company's YouTube channel. • Coordinate field content collection, including shot lists, interviews, B-roll, photography, and collaboration with in-field content resources. • Maintain organized, searchable libraries of footage, photographs, graphics, audio, completed projects, and publishing records. • Review internal and vendor-produced content for factual accuracy, production quality, spelling, formatting, brand alignment, and readiness to publish while recommending improvements to production workflows and tools. Who Thrives in This Role You are naturally curious and willing to learn how the business works before trying to tell its story. You ask thoughtful questions, notice missing information, and verify details instead of filling gaps with assumptions. You enjoy both creative and operational work. You can move from an interview or field shoot to video editing, file organization, scheduling, and stakeholder follow-up without treating those responsibilities as separate from good content production. You are also comfortable taking initiative in a newly developed position. This role will be busy and impactful, and success will require someone who can identify useful opportunities, connect ideas across the business, and move work forward without waiting for every step to be assigned. Minimum Qualifications: • Professional experience producing and editing video or multimedia content. • Ability to shape source material into a focused, accurate, and self-contained story. • Experience conducting research, gathering information, and identifying gaps before production begins. • Strong interviewing and interpersonal communication skills. • Working knowledge of video editing software and standard video, audio, lighting, recording, and post-production practices. • Ability to manage multiple projects, contributors, production schedules, and deadlines. • Strong attention to factual accuracy, spelling, formatting, brand consistency, audio quality, and visual quality. • Ability to maintain organized files and follow shared naming, storage, and archival procedures. • Sound judgment when balancing quality standards with changing priorities and deadlines. Ideal Experience & Attributes: • Experience producing customer stories, testimonials, case studies, webinars, podcasts, educational content, or thought leadership. • Ability to create both short-form and long-form content for websites, presentations, email campaigns, YouTube, and social platforms. • Strong editorial instincts, including the ability to distinguish essential information from secondary detail. • Confidence interviewing customers, engineers, contractors, industry experts, company leaders, and employees. • Experience coordinating videographers, photographers, editors, studios, equipment rentals, or other production vendors. • Comfort capturing content at customer sites, conferences, trade shows, speaking engagements, and other field locations. • A proactive, practical mindset with an interest in improving workflows, evaluating new tools, and building repeatable production systems. • Motivation rooted in producing strong work, collaborating across teams, and building trust and responsibility over time. Travel & Work Environment: This position is part of the Marketing team and reports to the Chief Operating Officer. It includes close collaboration with SOX's in-field content creator and the field team trainers responsible for capturing UGC during project installations. The role also engages internal SOX teams, customers, certified service providers, technical experts, production vendors, and other external stakeholders. Frequent travel is required to capture content at customer locations, project and production sites, trade shows, conferences, speaking engagements, or industry events. The role also involves office, studio, and post-production work, including equipment setup, editing, asset management, and coordination with internal and external contributors. Compensation & Earnings Potential: This is a full-time, salaried position with an annual base salary of $70,000. Benefits SOX provides benefits intended to support employees' health, financial security, and long-term well-being. Eligibility begins after 90 days of employment. • Comprehensive health insurance, with a significant portion of premiums covered by SOX Erosion Solutions. • $50,000 in company-paid basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage. • Access to a 401(k) retirement plan with a 3.5% company match. Growth at SOX This position is being created at a pivotal stage in SOX's growth. The person who steps into it will have the opportunity to help define what successful content production looks like, shape new content channels, and influence how SOX is understood by customers, partners, and the broader industry. There is no predetermined promotional ladder or guaranteed timeline. Growth will be earned through initiative, demonstrated capability, business impact, and the company's evolving needs. Over time, the role could develop toward content strategy, interviewing and storytelling, advanced production, specialized content creation, or leadership of future content resources. Multiple paths can represent success, and the direction will depend on the individual's strengths, interests, and contribution. Training & Support You will receive onboarding and ongoing support to understand SOX's business, customers, services, audiences, brand standards, production processes, and content priorities. Because credible content depends on business knowledge, the role will have exposure to Marketing, Operations, Sales, company leaders, vertical managers, customers, certified service providers, and subject matter experts. You will not be expected to figure everything out alone. Internal stakeholders will provide context and expertise, while external production partners may support specialized shoots, photography, editing, studio work, or other production needs. The Content Producer will also be encouraged to strengthen relevant skills through training, webinars, conferences, and professional development opportunities. Our Culture At SOX, ownership and collaboration go together. We expect people
