The Work You’ll Be Doing In this role, you will: Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes to machine aerospace components Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings Maintain tight tolerances down to ±0.0001” for high-performance parts Work with exotic materials such as Inconel, Hast-X, Titanium, and 17-4 Stainless Perform basic G-code edits or full programming if capable Use micrometers, calipers, bore gauges , and other inspection tools to verify quality Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and other machinists to meet deadlines and solve problems ️ Machines, Controls & Software You’ll work with equipment such as: Machines: Haas VMCs, Okuma lathes, Kitamura, DMG Mori, and more Controls: Fanuc, Okuma OSP, Haas, Celos CAM Software: Mastercam (if programming involved) Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, CMM Materials You’ll Work With Inconel Hast-X 17-4 Stainless Titanium Aluminum ✅ What We’re Looking For Required: 3–5 years of CNC machining experience (mill, lathe, or both) Experience reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T Strong understanding of setups, tooling, and offsets Able to hold tight tolerances and inspect precision parts Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Preferred: Experience in aerospace or high-performance machining Familiarity with Fanuc, Okuma, Haas, or Kitamura controls G-code / M-code editing or full programming skills Mastercam or CAM software exposure Why Machinists Like Working Here Machinists choose Aerodyn because: Clean, climate-controlled , modern facility Flexible shift options with competitive shift premiums Complex, low-volume aerospace work — not production Realistic schedules and steady workflow Regular overtime availability Career path into setup, programming, or leadership Pay, Benefits & Schedule Pay Range: $31.00 – $40.00/hour (based on experience) Shift Premium: 10% for 2nd shift Overtime: Available and encouraged Benefits: 90% employer-paid medical insurance (including family plans) Vision, dental, life, and short-term disability 401(k) with up to 4% company match (vests in 90 days) 2–3 weeks vacation (negotiable), 9 paid holidays Relocation assistance up to $5,000 for qualified candidates Schedule: 1st Shift: Flexible daytime start 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM Overtime available on weekdays and weekends Apply Now Join a team that values precision, innovation, and your experience.
