Scheduling: The full-time nocturnal physician position has a 7-on, 7-off rotation, and a PRN physician does not have a minimum shift commitment. Serve a diverse patient population in a low-volume ED with high acuity, providing essential specialty services such as cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, general surgery, urology, infectious disease, and podiatry. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a hospital that functions as a primary receiving stroke center, holds a geriatric-accredited emergency department, and serves as a department of corrections receiving facility. Collaborate with team members and utilize the hospital's outpatient clinic for coordinated care. Procedures are not required for the day position, but are required for the nocturnal role.
