The Opportunity As a Machine Operator - Packaging , you’ll play a hands-on role in turning rolls of paper stock into precisely sized sheets that keep production moving. Hours are Monday-Wednesday and every other Thursday 5 AM - 5 PM. This is more than running a machine. You’ll own your setup, monitor quality, troubleshoot issues, maintain equipment, manage materials, and help your teammates build their skills. What You’ll Do Review the computer system to understand job priorities and confirm orders are accurate and complete. Determine optimal machine setup specifications and select and load the correct stock onto the roll stand. Follow Job Orders and established SOPs throughout the production process. Produce start-up samples, verify sheet size, cuts, and stock quality, and complete required sign-offs. Run required quantities while performing regular quality inspections to identify defects and ensure specifications are met. Stage completed work according to instructions and ensure paperwork and job materials are accurate, complete, and properly organized. Clear finished goods and make-ready materials, containing or isolating materials as required by SOP. Return excess paper to stock, maintain a clean and organized work area, and route non-conforming materials, overruns, and waste appropriately. Perform regular and preventative maintenance on cutting equipment. Accurately record production information on daily production sheets and boards. Consistently meet efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence standards that support key industry certifications. Mentor and train team members, encourage teamwork, and cross-train on additional equipment as assigned. Take on additional responsibilities as needed to help the team succeed. Experience 1–2 years of experience as a Machine Operator preferred. Machine repair and maintenance experience required. Manufacturing experience in the packaging industry is preferred, but not required. Marquip Sheeting equipment preferred but will consider applicants with large-format sheeting experience. Skills That Set You Up for Success You’re someone who combines mechanical know-how with attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership. Ideally, you bring: Ability to operate a Roll Clamp Truck. Knowledge of production and processing, including raw materials, quality control, waste, costs, and manufacturing efficiency. Familiarity with machines and tools, including their operation, design, repair, and maintenance. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Computer proficiency. Understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and production danger areas. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Ability to communicate information clearly in one-on-one and small-group settings. Ability to understand and carry out written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions. Supervisory experience is a plus. Why Quad? Position Summary Quad is seeking an Industrial Utility Maintenance Mechanic to join our CR/T team in Valdosta, Georgia. In this role, you'll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, fabrication, and rebuilding on production and facility utility equipment. You'll work with a variety of industrial mechanical and process systems while developing a strong understanding of our resin manufacturing operation and the equipment that supports it. Part-Time Fulfillment & Warehouse Specialist Pay: Starting at $17.50 / hour , based on relevant experience and work history Schedule: Part-Time 20–30 hours per week Monday–Friday | Between 7:00 am – 5:00 pm Experience Preferred: Previous fulfillment, shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, manufacturing, or quality support experience is preferred. Here, you'll work alongside manufacturing, logistics, and customer service teams to help ensure products are accurately packaged, shipped, and delivered to customers while supporting the quality standards Quad is known for. Position Summary Quad is seeking a Part-Time Fulfillment Specialist to join our Hartford manufacturing team. In this role, you'll accurately fulfill customer orders by packaging products, processing shipments, maintaining inventory, and supporting quality verification activities. You'll partner with manufacturing, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure products meet customer expectations and are shipped accurately and on time. What You'll Do Accurately select, pack, seal, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Produce and apply shipping labels using Quad operating systems. Process outgoing shipments and prepare shipping documentation. Receive incoming shipments and maintain accurate inventory of products and supplies. Communicate inventory shortages to appropriate team members. Partner with manufacturing departments to support product quality and customer requirements. Evaluate products and communicate quality information to internal production teams and business partners. Assist Customer Service with product returns and shipment discrepancies. Track shipping information and maintain accurate documentation. Follow all company safety policies and perform daily equipment inspections. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Work independently to prioritize tasks and resolve issues with minimal supervision. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Previous fulfillment, warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, inventory, manufacturing, or quality support experience is preferred. Forklift certification or the ability to become certified. Experience operating powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, Big Joe lifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Ability to learn and use Quad's operating systems and SmartTools. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand basic math, read a ruler, and work with fractional and decimal measurements. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English to safely perform job duties, follow work instructions, and communicate effectively with team members. Ability to use hand tools and packaging equipment, including scissors and tape guns. Ability to lift 10–20 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally . Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment. Why Quad?
