Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. \n \n The Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) LADS Effectors department within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Directorate is searching for a Section Leader to join our team. The SI&T LADS Effectors Department provides system engineering, integration, and test expertise to the effectors, radars, sensors and C2 networks on ship and shore-based programs within Raytheon. \n As a Section Leader, the candidate will be expected to actively participate in leadership team goals and initiatives, support department hiring, support program staffing, provide employee feedback and mentoring, and be actively involved in daily program operations. This position provides an opportunity to grow your skillset by contributing to the development of our workforce. \n \n What You Will Do: \n \n Lead a team of engineers and technicians. \n Establish meaningful and measurable goals and communicate effectively with the team. \n Oversee the direct line management activities for the section including communication, performance management, career development, and talent acquisition. \n Support department and directorate level initiatives \n Ensure employee compliance with company policies and procedures. \n Oversight of personnel issue resolution \n Timecard approvals \n Adhere to and ensure alignment to Raytheon Technologies Values and Behaviors \n Work as a technical lead or individual contributor; Section Leader duties account for approximately 10% of the employee’s time. \n \n Qualifications You Must Have: \n \n Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience. \n Experience with LADS program portfolio. (Such as Stinger, Coyote, NGSRI, Excalibur, TOW, etc) \n \n \n Qualifications We Prefer: \n \n Strong communication and interpersonal skills. \n Experience with Raytheon’s hiring process. \n Experience working in a matrix environment. \n Experience with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar budget tracking system. \n Experience with Raytheon’s Proposal Capture Process (development of Basis of Estimates, etc.). \n Experience with Standard Bidding Tool (SBT) \n Experience with the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process \n \n \n What We Offer: \n \n Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
