Job Description Job Description Assistant Property Manager – Bilingual English/Spanish Job Overview We are looking for a motivated, professional, and bilingual Assistant Property Manager to join our growing property management team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in creating well-managed communities, and has a strong understanding of day-to-day property operations. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and or Tagalog , highly organized, dependable, and comfortable communicating with residents, vendors, prospective tenants, and team members. You will play an important role in supporting property operations, maintaining strong resident relationships, and helping ensure our properties are well maintained, compliant, and operating efficiently. This is an in-person position. Key Responsibilities Assist with the daily management and operations of residential properties. Communicate professionally with residents in both English Spanish and or Tagalog , responding to questions, concerns, and requests. Assist with lease preparation, renewals, notices, move-ins, move-outs, and other leasing activities. Maintain accurate and organized tenant files, records, rent information, and property documentation. Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with vendors to ensure repairs are completed promptly and properly. Respond to resident concerns and help resolve conflicts with professionalism, patience, and good judgment. Assist with rent collection, payment follow-up, delinquency tracking, and related administrative duties. Assist with property inspections and follow up on maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and property-condition issues. Help market available units and assist prospective residents throughout the leasing process. Assist with expense tracking, reports, budgeting, and other administrative and financial responsibilities. Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, contractors, and staff. Assist with scheduling, staff coordination, and training as needed. Use property management and maintenance software to document resident communications, leases, work orders, and other property activities. Qualifications & Skills Required: Fluent in Spanish and or Tagalog – speaking, reading, and writing. Previous experience in property management, apartment management, leasing, or a related field. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional phone and in-person communication skills. Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve resident concerns professionally. Comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Preferred: Experience with Yardi, OneSite, AppFolio, Buildium, or similar property management software . Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and landlord-tenant regulations. Experience coordinating maintenance requests and vendors. Experience with rent collections, delinquency follow-up, leasing, and lease administration. Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance/work-order management systems. Previous experience supervising or training staff. What We're Looking For We want someone who is reliable, energetic, professional, and genuinely enjoys helping people .
