Details\n \n Progressive Care Unit with 15 beds (3 step-down ICU, 12 telemetry) \n Patient ratios of 1:4 for Progressive Care and 1:3 for Step-down ICU \n Uses Meditech charting, Pyxis medication dispensing, BIPAP, and continuous cardiac monitoring equipment \n Scheduled for 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation, no guaranteed hours \n No call requirements \n Floating required to all acute units including Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER \n Requirements\n \n Active HI RN license required by start of assignment, may apply upon acceptance of offer \n Current BLS and ACLS certifications required \n ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications preferred \n Minimum 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year required \n Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred \n Skilled in primary nursing care, telemetry monitoring, telemetry strip reading, and fingerstick blood sugar testing \n Additional Information\n \n Provide primary nursing care with continuous telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation \n Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start, typically requiring arrival in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start \n Scrubs required as dress code \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-753099.
