Qualifications · Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering and power electronics design experience (15 years preferred), including industrial motor drives and/or power conversion products, with prior technical leadership or people management experience. · Strong background in analog closed-loop control design (stability analysis, compensation, filtering) for industrial power supplies and motor drives. · Experience with mixed-signal power electronics up to ~800 V and ~500 A, including protection, sensing, and safe operating area considerations. · Hands-on design of linear and switching power supplies (on-board and offline; isolated and non-isolated) and associated magnetics/components. · Proficiency with analysis and simulation tools such as SPICE and at least one of MATLAB/Simulink or Mathcad to model power circuits and control loops. · Ability to lead electrical and PCB hardware development, including design reviews, cross-functional coordination, and execution, while providing organizational oversight for the mechanical engineering team. · Ability to lead PCB layout constraints and reviews for high power density and low EMI (creepage/clearance, current return paths, dV/dt, and thermal considerations). · Minimum: M.S. in Electrical Engineering; Ph.D. is a plus. · Strong technical foundation in power electronics, controls, and/or hardware system design. · Relevant coursework or demonstrated expertise in linear control theory, electromagnetics, power electronics, thermal design, or related hardware disciplines.
