What's in it for you: As a Commercial HVAC/Chiller Technician, you will be primarily responsible for repairing HVAC equipment in the Ventura/Oxnard areas. You will use your knowledge of refrigeration theory, control systems, pipe fitting, and understanding schematics. Responsible for testing chillers on our onsite test stand, point to point testing, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned chillers or HVAC equipment. What you will do: Chiller experience is a must. Role requires proficient ability to perform repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance of Screw, scroll, reciprocating and centrifugal chillers. Responsible for end to end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects. Represents the company by serving as the direct customer contact and is responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, examining, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer’s location. Coordinates with team leader/project manager and customer to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work. Uses cutting edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units. Continually enforces safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of company issued and procured assets by recording use, wear and conditions. Mentor team members. Display team effort and dedication to customer by maintaining flexibility to work overtime and weeks as the business requires, including occasional overnight stays. What you will bring: A High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience, required. Typically requires at least 10 plus years of experience in HVAC. Technical School or formal training is preferred. If you enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, and keeping commercial vehicles safely on the road, this is the job for you. You'll remove, install, rotate, balance, and repair commercial and large equipment tires both in our shop and at customer locations. The pay range is $22-25 based on experience and qualifications. More about the role: This is a road service position. You'll work out of our Breese location and cover a 75 miles service territory. Emergency road service calls are part of the job; on-call rotation details will be discussed during the interview. What You'll Do as a Commercial Tire Technician - Road Service : For tires (functions performed per TIA Commercial guidelines): Operate heavy-duty service trucks and associated tools Remove, install, rotate, and balance commercial tires both in the shop and at fleet location Evaluate tire conditions to determine repair or replacement is needed Provide fleet inspections at the customer's lot to make recommendations to keep their fleet running in optimal condition Perform tire fleet service on-site to manage fleet tire specs Perform Emergency Road Service to repair/replace blown tires Prepare paperwork on-site detailing what services were performed and submit to Sales Effectively communicate fleet needs with Service and Sales Night and weekend fleet work available. Equipment you'll operate : Heavy-duty tire service truck (assigned to you- keep it clean and maintained) Properly maintain assigned service truck for preventive maintenance and appearance Raise and lower vehicles safely, with hydraulic or floor jacks Safely operate all shop machinery, including but not limited to: safety cage, spreader, balancer, floor jacks or lifts, air powered tools, torque wrench and/or torque sticks Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment What boxes you check: 2 years minimum commercial and/or agriculture tire experience CDL is a plus At least 18 years of age Valid driver's license required High school diploma or equivalent Positive attitude and the ability to relate well with other team members and customers Ability to perform all job functions that require lifting and or carrying single items weighing at least 50 lbs., as well as functions and activities such as pulling, pushing, bending, standing, lifting, reaching, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling Who We Are: Over the past 77 years, what started out as a single bay service station has grown into a respected tire and service company with over 320 locations in over 35 states - one of the largest independent tire companies in North America. This executive-level position plays a critical role in ensuring our residential and community-based services promote and protect each individual's rights, dignity, health, safety, personal choice, and community inclusion while maintaining compliance with all applicable state regulations, accreditation standards, and agency policies. Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO), the Director serves as a strategic leader responsible for fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement, regulatory excellence, and person-centered supports throughout the organization. What You'll Do Quality Assurance Leadership Lead the agency's Quality Assurance and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program. Develop measurable quality outcomes and collaborate with leadership to improve services across all departments. Review internal investigations and serious incidents to ensure compliance with regulations, agency policy, and individual rights. Monitor service quality with a strong emphasis on person-centered planning, self-determination, independence, and community integration. Provide consultation, coaching, and training to managers and Direct Support Professionals. Ensure Individual Support Plan (ISP) processes effectively support each individual's goals, needs, and choices. Coordinate Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) licensing reviews and oversee Plans of Correction when necessary. Maintain and update Quality Assurance policies and procedures. Lead agency participation in accreditation surveys (CARF or other accrediting bodies), including preparation, onsite reviews, and follow-up activities. Stay current on regulatory changes, best practices, and emerging trends within developmental disability services. Risk Management Lead the agency's Risk Management Program. Conduct investigations, root cause analyses, and identify trends using incident and quality data. Develop and implement strategies to reduce organizational risk and improve safety. Conduct annual organizational risk assessments addressing: Environment of Care Clinical assessment processes Staff competency and staffing adequacy High-risk procedures Serious incident trends Complete and document annual safety inspections at all service locations. Evaluate serious injuries and recommend preventive corrective actions. Promote proactive risk reduction while supporting quality outcomes for individuals receiving services. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a closely related field. Minimum 10 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience. Minimum 3 years of residential services experience. Experience leading teams and providing supervision to managers. Experience with investigations, quality assurance, compliance, and regulatory oversight. Working knowledge of Virginia DBHDS regulations and residential licensing requirements. Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Therap Electronic Health Record. Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and presentation skills. Experience conducting root cause analyses and developing quality improvement initiatives. Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing quality and risk management data to improve organizational performance.
