Job Description & Requirements Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School - (SLP - School) StartDate: 8/24/2026 Available Shifts: 7.5 D Pay Rate: $2291.00 - $2360.00 Join a vibrant school district in the beautiful Bethel area of Washington, nestled in the greater Pierce County region. You will be part of a collaborative special education team with access to modern learning spaces, updated technology, and a strong network of experienced educators and related service providers.As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will serve a defined caseload of preschool through high school students (caseload size varies by building and student needs). Your typical day will include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing IEPs, delivering individual and small group therapy, consulting with teachers and families, and documenting services and progress. Services are primarily provided on a school-day schedule, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or night shifts, allowing for a stable work-life balance and alignment with the academic calendar. Required Qualifications Speech/Language Pathologist, SchoolMasters Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field Speech Therapist Clinical Fellows are Encouraged to Apply State License is Required to Start the Assignment Preferred Qualifications Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
