SUMMARY Fresh Start Contracting is looking for an experienced, well-rounded carpenter for its List Services division! List Services focuses on small project, handyman and concierge services. The position of List Services Lead Tech would require the ability to perform all carpentry tasks, lean on experience for problem solving and have the flexibility to collaborate with a Project Manager on multiple types of projects. The List Services Lead Technician position is responsible for all work done on the jobsite from demo to finish. Must be a Lead Carpenter and have a full understanding of a residential construction project from a budget and jobsite standpoint as well as possess a Construction Supervisor’s License. This includes planning and managing the schedule with the Project Manager from beginning to end. The List Services Lead Technician is responsible for managing the daily flow of work and making decisions on the best methods of construction. They are responsible for ensuring that work is done to a high quality and in safe and clean conditions. The organization, cleanliness, and job site safety are overseen and maintained by the List Services Lead Technician. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS* Lead Carpenter Reading and understanding construction plans Meeting Inspectors and handling building code issues Meeting with the List Services Project Manager, Owners and Architect to review project Meeting with sub-contractors on site to review their scope of work and pricing Reviewing budgets with the List Services Project Manager throughout project Completing hands-on daily carpentry and frame-to-finish tasks throughout the project Keeping track of job names, materials purchased, and your time spent on tasks accurately Clearly explaining steps, provide clear directions, and answer questions about construction processes to employees, owners, and subcontractors Ordering of all project materials from suppliers and sub-contractors Receiving material orders on the jobsite and properly organizing them Working with the List Services Project Manager to stay on schedule and meeting deadlines Setting daily work goals for crew Overseeing quality of work being done on a day-to-day basis Overseeing that the job site is well prepared and safe daily Overseeing and communicating to sub-contractors on the List Services Project Manager’s behalf Communicating to homeowners the progress of work and managing expectations Delegating work to List Services Technicians Picking up materials from suppliers Managing and organizing job site material and equipment Overseeing and participating in safe demolition and staging Driving company vehicle as needed to pick up materials and dispose of debris Keeping workspaces clean, organized, and safe Safely operating power tools, compressors, saws, and hand tools on a daily basis Excavating holes up to 4’ deep safely and accurately and preparing footings Properly using step ladders and extension ladders Performing work at varying heights on stepladders and extension ladders Submitting hours worked accurately and timely each week for payroll processing Working independently while paying attention to detail, quality, and staying on task until finished Operating a Smartphone (emails, photos, and texting, etc.) to regularly communicate job site information Assisting with clients’ needs as instructed by the List Services Project Manager Adhering to safety and security measures as appropriate to perform work Ensuring that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed Bringing problems to the attention of the List Services Project Manager Performing other duties as assigned PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES High school diploma or general education degree (GED) A minimum of 8 years’ experience in carpentry/construction preferred Solid knowledge of construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, safety, and applicable building codes Must hold valid Massachusetts Construction Supervisor’s License (CSL) Must have full knowledge of carpentry tasks and can do every phase of work Must have all necessary hand tools (basic set) and power tools (drill, reciprocating saw, and circular saw) Knowledge of construction supplies: fasteners, lumber and other building material Knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment Must have a caring and professional demeanor and enjoy helping families at a challenging time Ability to read technical documents and drawings Good understanding of basic math and measurements Knowledge of safety hazards and safe working practices related to work performed Understand and implement safety procedures as required by supervisor Regularly inspect and maintain equipment and notify supervisor is there is a problem Must have reliable work vehicle: truck or SUV preferred Valid driver’s license is required Ability to work overtime as needed JOB TYPE: Full-Time PAY: $35.00-$45.00 Hourly BENEFITS: Health Dental Vision Disability 401 (k) with company match Employee Assistance Program Additional benefits

JOB DESCRIPTION Schedule Thursday through Sunday 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM Depending on workflow and business needs, shifts may be extended until 6:00 PM I. SUMMARY: This position has primary responsibility for assigning tasks/activities to their respective Warehouse Operational Team members meeting customer demand requirements for inbound and outbound shipments. They allocate assignments and activities ensuring the business needs are meet while enabling the team members to meet their productivity requirements. They maintain on-going communication with the Security Team to move trailers in and out to meet demand. They provide example and Leadership to achieve business objectives following all Quality and Safety Requirements. II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Reviews production schedule to identify the production goal and balances staffing to requirements. · Assigns daily work functions for all shift employees prior to shift start. · Conducts daily pre-shift meetings to communicate production goal, function assignments and any special work requirements or operational process changes. · Provides First Responder Team Leadership for assigned shift. · Assigns First Responders Support roles each day. · Ensures pre-operational equipment inspections are conducted daily prior to shift start, providing LOTO support for material handling equipment, safety or other equipment as needed. · Ensures there are adequate quantity of trailers (per carrier) available on yard to fulfill the loading schedule and communicates any shortages to the Customer Care team for resolution. · Provides ongoing communication to the “Spotter” and Security team for moving trailers to and from dock doors. · Maintains active review of e-mails to address any urgent need or emergency orders to meet customer requirements · Ensures warehouse production meets customers quality specifications and requirements. · Ensures all Taskers and Group Leads are adequately trained and qualified to manage Warehouse Operations as backup for a Team Leader absence. · Ensures all Safety and Sanitation Procedures/Requirements are being followed and executed daily for Warehouse Operations. · Conducts daily end of shift walk-throughs of the warehouse. · Supports end of shift transition through communication of any special instructions/requirements for on-coming shift’s Leaders along with other applicable departments. · Reports indirect hours to the Sr. Team Lead · Responsibilities for Personnel Development: - Monitors employee skill level and when required, reports any training needs to the Sr. Team Lead and Warehouse Manager. - Leads by example, guiding and mentoring employees. - Reports performance issues to the Sr. Team Lead and Warehouse Manager.
