Provider Electronic Health Record Trainer

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION The primary role of the Provider EHR Trainer is to develop and deliver a comprehensive training program for providers at all BVHS acute and ambulatory locations. This position will work to optimize the provider workflow, meet training objectives and provide on-going provider support on workflow and standard desktop software. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Duty 1: Develops and delivers comprehensive training programs for healthcare providers on EHR system functionality, workflows, and best practices. Develops customized training materials and sessions to meet the specific needs and preferences of different provider specialties and roles. Duty 2: Provides flexible training schedules to accommodate provider needs. Duty 3: Evaluates training effectiveness to ensure needs of the end user are addressed. Coordinates with others as necessary to address additional training needs of providers.
