Network Integration Deployment Engineer

Our small and growing team fosters an environment in which each team member is respected, valued, and appreciated for their contributions.\n \n \n The Network Deployment Engineer supports the installation, integration, configuration, testing, and sustainment of enterprise and tactical network solutions. This position works closely with network architects, systems engineers, project managers, logisticians, cybersecurity personnel, and customer teams to ensure deployments are completed safely, securely, on schedule, and in accordance with approved technical designs. \n \n ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \n \n \n Install and configure routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices, servers, and related network equipment. \n Execute network deployments at customer, military, shipboard, and other operational locations. \n Configure VLANs, routing protocols, switching, IP addressing, VPNs, access controls, and network services. \n Perform equipment staging, rack-and-stack, cabling, labeling, and physical installation. \n Conduct pre-deployment testing, system integration, validation, and operational checkout. \n Troubleshoot Layer 1-3 connectivity, configuration, hardware, and performance issues. \n Follow network architecture diagrams, implementation plans, engineering drawings, and configuration guides. \n Coordinate deployment activities with project managers, engineers, logisticians, cybersecurity teams, and customer representatives. \n Maintain configuration records, IP address plans, equipment inventories, test results, and as-built documentation. \n Support cybersecurity requirements, STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, and configuration compliance. \n Perform system turnover, customer training, and post-deployment support. \n Identify deployment risks, technical issues, and schedule impacts and communicate them to project leadership. \n Support travel-intensive deployments lasting several days or weeks, as required. \n \n Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award with an expected start date of September/October 2026. \n \n REQUIREMENTS: \n \n \n 3-7 years of network engineering, network administration, or field deployment experience. \n Hands-on experience with Cisco or comparable enterprise networking technologies. \n Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and network security. \n Experience troubleshooting network infrastructure using industry-standard tools. \n Ability to read network diagrams, rack elevations, cable schedules, and technical implementation documentation. \n Experience supporting DoD, Federal, maritime, tactical, or other mission-critical environments preferred. \n Familiarity with DISA STIGs, RMF, cybersecurity controls, and DoD network standards preferred. \n Ability to travel frequently and work in customer or operational environments. \n An active Secret clearance. \n \n PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: \n \n \n Cisco CCNP (Enterprise/Security) ; CCIE highly desired. \n Red Hat or automation certifications. \n Experience with C5I, afloat deployments, constrained bandwidth environments, SATCOM, and Cisco ISE. \n
