Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for patients and families, evaluating abilities, interests, psychological impacts of illness, and any substance dependencies. \n Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance use issues, and behavioral disorders, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. \n Set realistic and measurable treatment goals through personalized psychotherapeutic methods, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive counseling, and crisis intervention. \n Apply psychological principles and methodologies to observe and modify human behavior in patients, ensuring effective treatment for those with mental, behavioral, or emotional disorders. \n Collaboratively engage with team members and other healthcare providers to deliver coordinated care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s well-being are addressed. \n Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in patient medical records, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and confidentiality regulations. \n Perform additional duties as required to support the organization’s goals and meet the needs of the patients in your care. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n This role primarily serves adult patients within a hospice setting, addressing complex mental health needs arising from terminal conditions and providing emotional support to both patients and their families. You will play a crucial role in helping them navigate end-of-life decisions, grief, and the psychological impacts of their health challenges. Your work will directly contribute to improving their quality of life during difficult times. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, including completion of an internship that meets professional standards. \n A current Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) certification in Washington State. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience providing psychological services in an outpatient or consultative capacity within the past 12 months. \n Prior experience in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable, as is a background in group therapy and family counseling. \n Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth services to effectively document and deliver patient care. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 50,000 to 70,000 based on experience and qualifications.
