Job Description \n Job Summary: \n The MRI Tech III possess an advanced skill level and can function within the MRI department, performing a variety of responsibilities and additional tasks. The MRI Technologist III must adapt to changes in technology, new imaging techniques, safe and effective imaging practices for patients with and without medical implants. This position requires independent judgement, a comprehensive knowledge of MRI physics, biological effects to human tissue, medical implants and the ability to enforce MRI safety. The candidate must possess inherent compassion for patients with claustrophobia and provide mechanisms to assist the patient in overcoming their discomfort. The MRI Tech III operates under the general supervision of the Radiologist and the MRI Supervisor. \n Education: \n Graduate from school of Radiologic Technology approved by CAHEA/JRCT.
