Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional well-being to establish a clear understanding of their needs. \n Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation. \n Facilitate individual therapy sessions addressing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to interpersonal conflicts. \n Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, resolving conflicts, and enhancing relationship dynamics. \n Conduct regular evaluations to track clients' progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to respond to changing circumstances and achievements. \n Maintain accurate, detailed records of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines. \n Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care. \n Provide crisis intervention and support for clients in acute distress, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment. \n Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of advancements in marriage and family therapy. \n Advocate for clients’ rights and encourage their involvement in the development of their treatment strategies. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your clientele will range from teens to adults, including couples facing relational challenges and individuals dealing with a variety of psychological conditions. The focus will be on delivering therapeutic approaches that resonate with our clients’ unique circumstances and goals. You will have the chance to make a direct impact on the emotional well-being of families and individuals, empowering them to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. Qualifications\n \n Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field. \n Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State of New York. \n Experience providing individual and/or couples therapy is essential. \n Proven skills in developing client assessments, treatment plans, and maintaining timely documentation. \n Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in electronic health record systems. \n Preferred Experience\n \n A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing therapy services, preferably in an outpatient setting. \n Experience working with a diverse range of clients, including children and families. \n Familiarity with remote therapy tools and best practices for virtual counseling. \n Compensation and Benefits\n We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
