Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories, strengths, and challenges in order to determine the most appropriate treatment avenues. \n Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s journey toward recovery and resilience-building, with a focus on evidence-based practices. \n Deliver therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting approaches as needed to fit individual client needs. \n Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma, developing coping skills, and fostering a supportive peer network. \n Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care to our patients. \n Offer crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, assessing immediate needs and connecting clients to necessary resources. \n Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and local resources for additional support, enhancing their understanding and capacity for recovery. \n Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and facilitating continuity of care. \n Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a culture of learning and professional growth while receiving feedback aimed at your development. \n Commit to staying informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, applying new insights to enhance treatment effectiveness. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n You will work primarily with clients who have experienced varying degrees of trauma, ranging from single-event incidents to prolonged exposure to adverse conditions. Your expertise will be particularly relevant in addressing the complex needs of individuals facing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Through the provision of personalized care strategies, you will help these individuals navigate their recovery journeys and foster their resilience in the face of adversity. Qualifications\n \n Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia. \n A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating competency in trauma-focused therapies and interventions. \n In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities. \n Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience in providing trauma-focused therapy, particularly using methodologies such as EMDR and TF-CBT. \n Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and CRM technologies, enhancing documentation and patient engagement processes. \n Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support comprehensive treatment planning. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The anticipated salary for this position falls within the range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
