This role offers substantial responsibility, direct client contact, and the opportunity to independently manage a litigation caseload while working closely with experienced partners and trial attorneys. Responsibilities Handle rideshare and UM/UIM defense matters from inception through resolution Manage court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and motion practice Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial strategy and litigation support Communicate directly with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, and experts Provide timely case evaluations, reporting, and litigation updates Qualifications Active California Bar license required 4 years of civil litigation experience preferred Experience drafting and arguing motions and taking/defending depositions Prior insurance defense, rideshare, or UM/UIM experience strongly preferred Strong writing, analytical, and case management skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced litigation environment Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $150,000 – $200,000 DOE Performance and annual discretionary bonuses Hybrid work flexibility Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 401(k) with employer matching Parental leave and flexible scheduling Partnership track opportunities Location: Hybrid remote in San Francisco.
