The Medical Director is responsible for managing a minimum of fourteen patients per day, coordinating patient scheduling, monitoring charts, guide medical staff and troubleshoot as necessary. Ultimately, ensuring that the patient is receiving the highest quality of care. The Medical Director is also responsible for building a dynamic team by interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees. A major academic health system in New York City is seeking an ABR-Certified/Eligible Radiologist to join Emergency Radiology Division as a full-time faculty member. This unique academic opportunity offers a 7-on, 21-off overnight schedule , with nine-hour shifts providing Emergency Department coverage from New York City or anywhere in the United States if you prefer remote. The successful candidate will work remotely as part of a collaborative team of attending radiologists and residents while contributing to the delivery of high-quality imaging care in a major academic medical center. The Emergency Radiologist will primarily interpret imaging studies for the Emergency Department, including: CT (Body and Neuro), Ultrasound, Radiographs.
